Konstantina Katsarou (née Koutoumanou) (Greek: Κωνσταντινα Κατσαρού) is the wife of an archeologist and artifacts trader, Giorgos Katsaros, and the mother of their two sons, Deimos and Lazaros Katsaros. Her father, Yurgos Koutoumanos, is a singer and pianist and taught her to sing and play the piano.
She married Giorgos in 1962 and two years later, after much planning, they welcomed their fraternal twins, Deimos and Lazaros, into the world.
Another two years passed and Giorgos got a job offer as an archeologist in the US unexpectedly they had to take in Giorgos’ nephew, Markos. Konstantina left her home country of Hallas with Deimos, Lazaros, Markos, and her husband to live in the United States.
Konstantina loves music and sees musical talent in her son, Deimos, and always encourages him to pursue his love of music. She taught piano and singing in her home to those who wish to learn those skills. She has taught Deimos to sing and play the piano since he was 6-years-old.
Konstantina is the heart of her and her husband, who is stubborn and temperamental. However, sometimes her emotions run high and she relies on fast food and chocolate to calm her down.
On November 20th, 1969, she gave birth to a little girl, Diamantina, who died in March of 1970 of SIDS. She and Giorgos blame Markos for her sudden death, hence their immense resentment toward him. Konstantina kept her nursery in the Katsaros hacienda and had it locked away, until Yoshi and Blair opened it, reopening old wounds.
