Chapter 114
Dear Diary
Jaxon was driving Celeste to take her out to dinner at The Warrior’s Table. He wore a black suit jacket, a black silk shirt with the buttons undone to expose his dragon chest tattoo, black trousers, and black loafers. Celeste wore a black off-shoulder wrap dress, high-heeled sandals, and crystal dangling earrings. Her hair was worn in a sexy, messy bun updo. Jaxon couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Jaxon: “Damn, babe! You’re the spiciest dish on the menu!”
He purred at her. Celeste let out a peal of giggles.
Celeste: “Same to you, handsome man!”
She cuddled into his arm. Jaxon beamed down at her.
Celeste: “Keep your eye on the road.”
She said firmly but gently.
Jaxon: “Okay, I’ll try!”
He teased and kept his focus.
Celeste gazed at him.
Celeste: “Thanks for taking me out, Jaxon.”
She said softly.
Jaxon: “Of course, babe! My treat!”
They kissed and pulled into the restaurant parking lot. Jaxon parked his car, and the two climbed out. Celeste zipped up to Jaxon and grabbed onto his arm.
Celeste: “It’s always your treat! I’m the lady.”
She purred.
Jaxon: “Yes, and you’re my treat!”
He purred, kissing her neck. She shivered at his kiss.
The two approached the Warrior’s Table. It was an upscale Japanese restaurant located in downtown Pink Top City. A moat with a bridge surrounded it, and the water was full of koi fish. Near the entrance was a statue of a warrior man drawing his katana. When they crossed the bridge, Celeste looked down at the koi fish as a cat would. Jaxon draped his arm around her and went up to the restaurant, opening the door.
They entered an upscale dining area with dim lighting. There were several Japanese statues and decorations around the place. The waitresses were dressed in kimonos. The two approached the hostess, who was a young white woman.
Hostess: “Do you have a reservation?”
She asked.
Jaxon: “Yeah, under Tachibana!”
He smiled down at Celeste. The hostess grabbed some menus and led them to a tatami room where they were required to remove their shoes. Jaxon removed his shoes, revealing his sheer socked feet, and Celeste removed her heels. They set their shoes outside the room. The two sat on the cushions at the chabudai across from each other.
Hostess: “What would you two like to drink while you wait for your server?”
Jaxon flicked his gaze to Celeste to order first. Celeste snapped out of her daze of gazing at Jaxon’s feet.
Celeste: “Oh, uh, a lychee soda!”
She nodded.
Jaxon: “I’ll get a whiskey… if it’s cool with you, babe?”
He asked. Celeste smiled widely and nodded.
Celeste: “Yes, it’s fine, my little prince!”
She chirped. Jaxon smiled and nodded. The hostess left the two and slid the door closed.
Celeste looked over the menu and smiled at Jaxon.
Celeste: “We didn’t spend a lot of time together on that getaway. I’m sorry about that.”
She reached out and caressed his hand.
Jaxon: “Why are you sorry about that? It’s my fault… I’m sorry, babe…”
He sighed, holding her hand. Celeste gripped his hand and traced her nail over his palm.
Celeste: “We’re making up for that.”
She smiled and tickled his palm. Jaxon smiled at her, shivered, and laughed a bit.
Jaxon: “That we are.”
She leaned over and kissed him. She reached up and tickled his neck.
Jaxon: “Hahahahaah!”
He shivered.
The door slid open, and a waitress in a kimono placed a glass of lychee soda with lychees in it and a straw in front of Celeste and an old-fashioned glass of whiskey over ice before Jaxon. Celeste eyed up her drink with delight.
Waitress: “Hello, my name is Nanako. I’ll be your server. What would you two like?”
She asked as she got out her pad.
Jaxon: “Karaage Chicken, the eel rolls, and the beef udon.”
He stated.
Celeste: “Miso soup, seaweed salad, eel rolls, and the twelve-ounce wagyu ribeye.”
She replied. The waitress jotted them down.
Waitress: “Thank you!”
She bowed and closed the door.
Jaxon turned to Celeste when she left.
Jaxon: “So, is this what you had in mind for a fancy restaurant?”
He asked her. Celeste smiled and shook her head.
Celeste: “No, but this is a fancy restaurant and a nice surprise…”
She held his hand. Jaxon smiled at her and held her hand.
Celeste: “Food from your home country, and I get to see you and your feet.”
She sank her fangs into her bottom lip. Jaxon chuckled and blew her a raspberry, sliding his feet across hers. Celeste jolted as she felt his feet and rubbed them over his, tickling his feet with her toes.
Jaxon: “Hahahaha haahaahahahahaaha HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHE!”
He laughed and squirmed, scrunching his toes. Celeste smiled and stopped tickling him. She didn’t want to draw too much attention, even if it was a private room.
She took the lychees from the soda and popped them into her mouth. Jaxon watched her closely and grinned. She smiled at him and slowly slid another into her mouth, thrusting it in and out. Jaxon bit his lip, imagining it as the tip of his cock. Celeste gazed at him with a half-lidded come-hither stare.
Jaxon: “Damn, I can’t wait for dessert at home!”
He purred, giving her a half-lidded stare.
The waitress entered the room with the food, placing it on the tables before them. Celeste’s eyes lit up at the array of food.
Waitress: “Enjoy!”
She smiled, bowed, and left. Jaxon glanced at Celeste and dipped his karaage chicken in the chilli sauce. Celeste gazed at him and picked up a fork to eat her wagyu steak. Jaxon rubbed his feet against hers as he slowly ate his udon, using his chopsticks. Celeste rubbed her feet on his and smiled at him. She reached over, stealing his karaage chicken, and popped one in her mouth. Jaxon chuckled with amusement at her and stole one of her eel rolls, biting down on it.
Celeste: “Hey, you have your own, silly boy. I’m the snack thief.”
She purred and ate more of her wagyu steak, thrusting it into her mouth. She then thrust a forkful of seaweed salad into her mouth and gulped it up. Jaxon laughed.
Jaxon: “Yeah, but I’m your snack thief partner in crime!”
He teased and continued his udon.
Celeste: “I always loved how you ate with chopsticks.”
She nodded to them and drained her miso soup.
Jaxon: “Why’s that?”
He asked, twirling his noodles into his chopsticks.
Celeste: “I always found your mannerisms sexy.”
She purred.
Jaxon: “I know!”
He teased and locked his gaze on her.
Celeste: “You’re getting tickled when we get home.”
She smirked and stole his karaage chicken, dipping it in chili sauce and sliding it into her mouth. Jaxon chuckled and smiled at her.
Jaxon: “And so are you.”
He teased, stealing her eel roll and dipping it in chilli sauce, sliding it into his mouth.
Celeste: “I’m stronger than you…”
She purred and locked her gaze on him.
Jaxon: “Doesn’t matter to me.”
He chuckled, locking his gaze on her.
Celeste: “Yeah? Having you in my grip when I spanked you turned me on.”
She whispered. Jaxon brightened.
Jaxon: “...Me too.”
He licked his lips at her.
~
When the two finished their meals, the waitress came back with the bill. Jaxon flipped his credit card to her, and when she returned, he signed his name on the bill, and he and Celeste rose, eager to get home.
~
When Jaxon drove home, he pulled into the driveway, and he and Celeste got out. He went to the door with his keys to open it when a “Firefly Delivery” truck pulled up in front of their house. A young, chubby Indian man in a jumpsuit, carrying a parcel and a clipboard, approached Jaxon and Celeste.
Delivery man: “Are you Jiro Tachibana?”
He asked Jaxon.
Jaxon: “Yep, that’s me.”
He confirmed with some hesitation in his tone. Whenever he received parcels, it was always something disturbing or stupid, or both and he wondered what and which crazy bitch it was this time. The man handed him the clipboard and pen.
Delivery man: “Sign here.”
Jaxon scribbled his name down. The man handed him the parcel, which was a small box.
Delivery man: “Have a nice evening, you two.”
He said as we went back to his truck.
Celeste: “What if this is the key to defeating Ichiro once and for all?!”
Her eyes grew large. Jaxon grinned widely and got excited.
Jaxon: “Oooh! Good thinking, babe!”
He used a switchblade and opened the box to reveal a lilac diary with white roses locked up. Jaxon scrutinized it with curiosity, wondering what it was and who sent it to him. Tristan and Deimos showed up and waved.
Tristan: “Hello, you two! What is this?”
He leaned in to look.
Celeste: “Possibly the key to defeating Ichiro!”
Deimos gaped at it.
Deimos: “You think THIS is something that could defeat that pig fuck?”
He held up the diary.
Celeste: “Why not?”
She used her key to enter the house, and they all entered. They piled into the living room with the box the diary came in. Celeste held up the empty box.
Celeste: “It has no key!”
Tristan held up the diary, examining it. Seems familiar, he thought. Celeste grabbed it from him and broke the lock with her bare hands.
Celeste: “Okay, let’s dive into how to defeat Ichiro!”
Tristan: “I don’t think this has anything to do with him…”
He opened up the book and paused.
Deimos: “What?”
Tristan: “It’s not Ichiro. It’s Chelsea’s diary. I didn’t connect the dots because why would she send this to you, Jaxon? Oh wait, I do, but I… I don’t know what I was thinking.”
He sighed and read it. He flipped the pages and stopped at what he saw.
“Today was a great day! I met a very sexy man named Jaxon! Josh’s parents, Joe and Betsy, told us Tristan was coming, but he had to bring Deimos along. I was bummed about that because I never liked Deimos. He’s so rude and surly. And Deimos was busy beating up that weird new friend of Josh’s, Arnie.
Anyway, it was all fine because I met Jaxon. My God, he’s so handsome and sexy. He drove me to the liquor store to pick up Josh’s booze. Truth be told, Joe is always stocked on that booze, but I asked Joe to give Jaxon an errand to that girl Jaxon was with so I could be alone with him. I loved the smell of his cologne, it’s Michel Germain Sexual Noir. I loved watching him drive, lift those cases of beer, and everything. He’s so masculine.
I don’t know what Jaxon sees in that girl. She eats like a pig, and there’s nothing ladylike about her. I think I could change his mind.
To make this day better, Jaxon beat up Josh for me.”
Tristan read it aloud and raised his head. Deimos folded his arms and grumbled. Celeste looked away. Jaxon’s jaw dropped, and his eye twitched at what she said about Celeste.
Tristan cleared his throat and continued reading.
“Today was better. Last night, I pleasured myself to thoughts of Jaxon and me where Jaxon thrust into me. Josh was moaning Celeste’s name. I don’t know what Jaxon sees in that girl, but Josh can have her. I fell out of love with Josh years ago. An intruder broke in, and I came rushing to Jaxon. I snuck a peek at his package when he got out of bed to come to my rescue. It turns out it was some crazy old man, but feeling Jaxon’s masculine chest until my hands sent thrills to me. Josh confronted Jaxon, but he’s afraid of him, as he should be.
We spent the day at the beach, and Jesse wanted to build sandcastles as we always did, but I told him to ask Celeste. I wanted to be with Jaxon, and Celeste needed to be distracted. I asked Joe to give her many errands, and Joe did it. I am so sick of Jaxon going on about that girl. I saw this in my favorite Hallmark movie, Sunset Resort, where Anna has to get Shawn’s annoying girlfriend out of the way, so she laces her sweet tea with sleeping powder. I did that for that girl, and when she’s sleeping, Jaxon is focused on me!
Josh beat me up, and Jaxon, like the handsome hero he is, comes to find me and heals me. Then he confronts Josh and beats him up. I have to have him.”
Tristan cupped his mouth and knit his eyebrows. Deimos furrowed his eyebrows. Celeste looked away uncomfortably. Jaxon trembled with rage.
Jaxon: “She DRUGGED you?!”
He threw his arms up in anger.
Celeste: “I didn’t know why I felt tired after I ate. I assumed it was because I ate so much.”
She murmured.
Deimos: “You always ate a lot and never slept after a big meal.”
He huffed.
Tristan continued reading.
“I couldn’t sleep that night. I snuck into Jaxon’s room that night and snuck a peek into his wallet, still stuck in his pants. I looked at his driver’s license, and his real name is Jiro Tachibana! It’s a lovely name that means reign, and he certainly knows how to take the reins. I ask Jesse to ask Celeste to take him fishing. I used to watch him fish, but Celeste needs something to do, and I need her away from Jaxon.
I tickled his feet. I love how ticklish he is! His feet are so soft and not stinky, unlike Josh’s. To my surprise, Celeste joins in, and she’s not angry at all.
She catches eels with Jesse, and I put sleeping powder in her drink before Josh takes me to the woods to talk about stuff. His old lamoris he bought years ago was still in the woods, and I didn’t know Josh saved that to kill me! Well, Jaxon came to save me as he always does. I kissed his cheeks, and I saw him blush. He tells me to leave Josh. He told me this because he loves me. I said I would leave to go to Pink Top City so I could be with him. He’s going to play for me at the bonfire. I just know tonight he and I are going to make love. I love him. I need him and desire him.”
Tristan: “That is it.”
He concluded and sat there, trying to process what he read. He had hunches about this, but he didn’t realize how bad it was, or did he overlook it due to personal feelings or fighting with Deimos? He wondered.
Jaxon’s head spun with confusion and anger.
Jaxon: “She really IS another Ivy!”
He huffed.
Jaxon: “She fucking drugged her to knock her out and if it weren’t for her, Ichiro wouldn’t have been able to kidnap Celeste!”
He fumed. Celeste looked very uncomfortable.
Celeste: “Well, it was her own undoing! It’s everything! She wanted you and this is why all of this upset me!”
She said with hurt in her tone. Jaxon knit his eyebrows.
Jaxon: “I’m so sorry, babe!”
He wrapped her in his arms. Celeste smiled in his arms.
Deimos: “Before you, she was pining for Tristan.”
He said flatly. Tristan hung his head. He didn’t know what to think or feel.
Jaxon: “...Why didn’t anyone tell me?!”
He asked.
Tristan: “Because it was YEARS ago, Jaxon! I assumed she got over it since Deimos and I became an item! Why didn’t you tell me about Vanessa wanting your father?!”
He snapped. Jaxon gave him a look as his emotions soared.
Deimos: “Tristan, it’s okay.”
He said gently and reassured him.
Deimos: “Because it was years ago, Jaxon, and we both assumed, due to this invitation, she had moved on. And she did. She moved onto you.”
He huffed. Jaxon twisted his mouth.
Jaxon: “Why me, though? My love for Celeste was crystal clear as day, and I never wanted her!”
He exclaimed.
Deimos: “Because you’re handsome, sexy, and charming. I’m not. I’m just rude and surly.”
He said bitterly.
Jaxon: “Dude, you are! I wish I were rude and surly, then she would have left me alone! She kept popping up everywhere and wouldn’t leave me alone!!”
He countered. Deimos smiled a bit at his compliment.
Tristan removed his glasses to wipe his eyes.
Tristan: “I don’t know what to think anymore! I witnessed Ichiro turn her into a ghastly monster, and now this is thrust upon me! What do you feel when you have hunches but don’t want to see them and they’re in front of you shouting ‘you were right all along!’?!”
He cried.
Deimos: “It was her own undoing! If Celeste weren’t drugged, she could have prevented Ichiro from doing what he did, so she shot herself in the ass to get in bed with Jaxon!”
He said hotly as he held Tristan close. Jaxon frowned.
Jaxon: “If she didn’t drug my green queen, Ichiro wouldn’t have gotten his hands on her and almost gotten her killed! She was NEVER going to get me in bed!”
He flared. Tristan cupped his mouth and nodded. Celeste looked away.
Celeste: “I wondered why that monster was able to smash me. I normally am not breakable.”
She muttered. Jaxon froze.
Deimos: “I told you all so.”
Celeste: “No, you didn’t, Deimos. You kept kicking Arnie’s ass.”
She looked away. Deimos glared.
Deimos: “I was pissed off. I thought when Jaxon finally snapped at Chelsea, she would pine for Tristan…”
He hugged his legs.
Deimos: “I was scared.”
Tristan turned to Deimos.
Tristan: “Why? My love for you is obvious to all.”
He said softly.
Deimos: “ ‘cause I’m rude, surly, and not likable! People gravitate to Jaxon and you, and people avoid me because I know I am mean, and I call it like I see it!”
He said with hurt in his tone. Celeste looked away.
Celeste: “I… I understand how Deimos feels. I was upset cause I feared I’m too much of a brute or whatever and not like Chelsea or Ivy.”
She said as her voice trailed off. Jaxon gaped at her.
Jaxon: “Babe, are you kidding me?! I LOVE and am GLAD you’re NOT like Chelsea or Ivy!”
He put his arm around her. Celeste smiled up at him.
Tristan: “You’re not rude and surly to people who get to know you and break those barriers you put up. You put up walls to keep yourself from getting hurt, but when people peel away the layers, you’re a very kind person, Deimos. Look at how you treat your friends, your cats, and even your brother when he’s not irritating you.”
He said softly as his soft hands caressed Deimos’ arms. Deimos smiled at him.
Tristan: “And Celeste? There is no right or wrong way to have a relationship or be in love. Hallmark movies offer a warped view of how relationships work. It’s no different from those sex romps Maxx indulges in.”
He said evenly. Celeste smiled and nodded, feeling better.
Deimos: “He’s right. I could tell Jaxon was getting annoyed.”
Jaxon nodded in confirmation.
Jaxon: “Yeah, I wasn’t getting my green queen time and I was gettin’ tired of fixing her problems all because she wouldn’t leave her shitty boyfriend.”
Tristan: “Why didn’t you speak to him?”
Deimos: “Between her hogging his time and that fucking Arnie, how could I? I had no time to myself or with you because of that dipshit.”
He huffed. Tristan raked his fingers through his hair.
Tristan: “I felt he was getting irritated, but I understood why he helped her.”
He smiled.
Tristan: “I understand how you feel, Jaxon. You and I are on the same page.”
He nodded.
Jaxon: “Really?”
His eyebrows rose. Tristan nodded.
Tristan: “I would have done the same, Jaxon, even if it did annoy me.”
He admitted.
Deimos: “Tristan is right. You and he are like this.”
He reddened.
Deimos: “Maybe this is why I grew close to you. I do like that you’re nice and helpful.”
He muttered. Jaxon smiled a bit.
Jaxon: “I’m glad that we’re friends.”
He said earnestly.
~
Ivy stood outside the house smiling.
Ivy: “My parting gift to you, Chelsea. Both Tristan and Jiro see your true colors as I always have…”
She laughed.
Ivy: “Hoping you’re looking down at us and see that Jiro is in love with Miss Snack Thief and Tristan will always be smitten with me. Checkmate and rest in peace, bitch.”
She smirked and turned on her heel to leave.
~
Celeste: “Oh, Tristan and Deimos? Ichiro visited us last night to grab my boobs!”
She interjected. Tristan gazed at Celeste, trying not to show his shock and fear.
Deimos: “He did?! What happened?”
He asked anxiously.
Celeste: “He and Jaxon were speaking in Japanese.”
Tristan: “Jaxon, please tell me what he said and hold nothing back. Someone’s life or lives could be at stake.”
He said firmly, trying to keep his cool. Deimos caressed his hand. Jaxon drew a breath.
Jaxon: “He’s making a new monster thing for me and Celeste.”
He began.
Jaxon: “He also wanted me to take care of our father’s problem, but that’s not important, and I don’t care.”
He waved his hand dismissively. Tristan’s eyes widened, and he rose.
Tristan: “That IS important, Jaxon! Your father is going to Swan View Lake Park to give a public apology to that girl he got pregnant to deliver a speech!”
He said as his panic rose. He tried to retain his cool.
Tristan: “The girl he got pregnant will be present during your father’s speech. Ichiro asked you to take care of this problem, and I’m assuming you refused?”
He repeated as he stammered.
Celeste: “Tristan?”
She knit her eyebrows. Jaxon quirked an eyebrow at him.
Jaxon: “Yeah? So? What’s the big deal?”
He asked.
Tristan: “Jaxon, listen to me. Ichiro is going to turn that girl your father impregnated into a monster.”
He said sternly. Celeste’s eyes widened. Jaxon gaped at him.
Jaxon: “What the fuck?! Why?”
He pressed him.
Tristan: “He told you he took care of the previous issue. Yes, he had Robin hypnotize Vanessa and force her to ingest an abortion inducing pill, but Ichiro’s patience with your parents is wearing thin, and he wants you and me to pay.”
He explained with unease.
Tristan: “Jaxon, he will do this. I know you couldn’t care less about your parents or this girl, but this will occur in a park where people will be present, and this monster will attack the city. We have to prevent this. Innocent people cannot die because of your father’s mistakes or Ichiro.”
He said firmly and nodded. Jaxon’s heart sank when it dawned on him and sank in.
Deimos: “He’s right, Jaxon.”
He said in agreement.
Jaxon: “For fuck sake, Ichiro!”
He huffed and shook his head. Celeste placed her delicate hands on Jaxon’s larger hands.
Celeste: “I’m in.”
Jaxon held her hands and nodded, locking his gaze on her.
Jaxon: “I’m in, too.”
He declared.
Tristan: “Your father is set to deliver the speech tomorrow at one-thirty in the afternoon at Swan View Lake Park. We’ll be there.”
He said as he put his hand on Jaxon’s shoulder. Deimos nodded.
