Chapter 112
Fighting for his Green Queen
Jaxon sat on the couch that night, and Celeste hadn’t returned home. Jaxon drew a breath and picked up the phone, dialing Deimos’ number.
~
Deimos’ cellphone rang while he was lying on his bed in his bedroom, reading comics. He picked up the phone.
Deimos: “Hello?”
Jaxon: “Hey, Deimos, is Celeste with you?”
He asked with concern in his tone.
Deimos: “No, I’m here alone. Why do you ask?”
He put his comic down. Jaxon drew a breath.
Jaxon: “...We had a fight and she stormed off somewhere and still hasn’t come home.”
He sighed.
Deimos: “Why did you fight?”
He asked as he sat up. Jaxon pursed his lips.
Jaxon: “Fucking Ivy…”
He huffed with anger in his tone.
Jaxon: “and Chelsea…”
His tone shifted to one of guilt.
Jaxon: “And me…”
His tone shifted to shame.
Deimos: “Could you be more specific?”
He asked him.
Jaxon: “Fucking Ivy has her second-guessing things and she thinks I want a normal girl that isn’t like her when that’s not what I want, and she blames herself for breaking me when it’s not her fault! I was already broken, and Ichiro keeps breaking me, and this is new to me! I always have people all over me, and I used to sleep around, so why does it bother her that I was nice to Chelsea? I didn’t realize it bothered her! She didn’t grope me or anything like that!”
He explained.
Deimos: “Because maybe she didn’t tell you it bothered her? I knew it did, and Tristan knew it did when you did those stupid one-night stands.”
He rolled his eyes. Jaxon paused.
Jaxon: “What?! Why didn’t she tell me, but she told you?!”
Deimos: “She didn’t tell us; Tristan figured it out.”
He said flatly.
Jaxon: “Oh… does he have a mind-reading ability or something?”
He asked.
Deimos: “No, he’s good at reading between the lines and picking up on emotions.”
Deimos: “And I won’t sugarcoat this, Jaxon, you were allowing Chelsea to be… close to you. Leaning on your shoulder and kissing your cheek. Why would you allow that? I wouldn’t allow anyone but Tristan to do that to me. So yes, I understand why she’s upset.”
He said with irritation in his tone.
Jaxon: “I don’t know? I didn’t know it was a big deal ‘cause she tickled me, and Celeste joined in? Lots of people tickle me all the time, and Celeste joined that nerdy Asian guy when I kicked Blair’s ass?”
He replied.
Deimos: “Are you forgetting how crappy you were to Victor when he was pining for Celeste? Why the double standard?”
He challenged him. Jaxon paused.
Jaxon: “What’s that got to do with this?”
He pressed him.
Deimos: “Victor wasn’t a predator like Josh, Ichiro, or that clown I went to school with. He was nice to Celeste and you were absolulutely shitty to him. Victor was also a victim of abuse, like Chelsea. Rule for thee but not for me, huh?”
He asked scathingly.
Jaxon: “He wasn’t nice to Celeste! He saw her as an object or a quick fix, and he was hung up on Ivy!”
He countered.
Deimos: “And the same can’t be said of Chelsea?”
He challenged him.
Jaxon: “What do you mean?”
He asked. Deimos shifted in his bed.
Deimos: “Victor was abused, too. He almost died. When he was in an abusive relationship with Ivy, he clung to Celeste. This is honestly the same thing and you were shitty to Victor. Celeste wasn’t shitty to Chelsea.”
He explained evenly. Jaxon paused.
Jaxon: “I see…”
He sighed and hung his head.
Jaxon: “Maybe I was shitty to him because I was hurt… and I guess that’s what she’s feeling now?”
He pursed his lips when it dawned on him.
Deimos: “That would make sense.”
He drew a long breath.
Jaxon: “Why did she cling to me? Why not you guys?”
He asked.
Deimos: “ ‘cause I am not approachable. You know that. Tristan is also… not a protector.”
He said as his voice trailed off.
Jaxon: “Well, usually Celeste is my protector, but sometimes she needs saving too, so maybe sometimes you need saving by Tristan, too?”
He offered.
Deimos: “Oh no, I don’t need to be saved by Tristan! I will always save him!”
He waved his hand.
Jaxon: “Sure, man, but he’s really powerful and can save you, too!”
He stated. Deimos darkened.
Deimos: “You don’t realize… yes, his attacks are powerful, but… he can’t take damage well. He’s… an ice cannon. I don’t think Tristan realizes this either.”
He said glumly. Jaxon’s eyes widened.
Jaxon: “Oh… well, it’s a good thing he has a healer then.”
He assured him. Deimos smiled a bit.
Deimos: “Look, I’m sorry I was harsh earlier. I’m… upset? Tristan is still not speaking to me. I wish we never fucking went.”
He confessed with pain in his eyes. Jaxon sighed and nodded.
Jaxon: “Nah, man. I needed that. I’ve done a lot of shitty things and in the past, I didn’t care ‘cause no one cared about hurting me, so why should I care, right? But this time… I didn’t mean to or realize, and I do care… ‘cause Celeste cares about me and I care about her, ya know?”
He confessed and rubbed his forehead.
Jaxon: “Looks like we’re both in the same boat then ‘cause Celeste isn’t speaking to me either.”
He added.
Deimos: “I know where Tristan is, though…”
He sighed and flopped on his bed.
Jaxon: “Where?”
He asked.
Deimos: “In his bed. Not being able to sleep. And I’m not him with him.”
He said in a plaintive tone.
Jaxon: “Why don’t you go to him?”
He asked.
Deimos: “Because what I have planned can’t be done when it’s almost bedtime.”
He nodded and smiled.
Jaxon: “So what if it’s almost bedtime? Doesn’t matter what time of the day it is, do what you gotta do. Do you want to spend another sleepless night like this?”
He asked. Deimos rolled his eyes.
Deimos: “Because I have a plan in my head? And I know what he would say if I came to him right now? Sometimes you have to let things breathe, Jaxon, and not jump in so impulsively.”
He said with irritation.
Jaxon: “All right, all right! You and your plans!”
He waved his hand.
Jaxon: “So, what, you’re saying I should give Celeste space?”
He asked him.
Deimos: “Celeste is not Tristan. Tristan also plans, and he has to go to work tomorrow. I said I knew where Tristan was for a reason. You don’t know where Celeste is.”
He said earnestly. Jaxon pursed his lips and nodded.
Jaxon: “No… and I’m getting worried about her, even though she’s tough…”
He sighed.
Deimos: “I get that. I don’t know where to look for her. I wish I could help there, but I can’t.”
He replied. Jaxon sighed and nodded.
Jaxon: “I should go…”
His voice trailed off.
Jaxon: “Thank you, though.”
He added.
Deimos: “No problem, Jaxon. Good luck and good night.”
He hung up his phone. Jaxon drew a breath and threw his leather jacket on, grabbing his cigarettes and car keys.
~
Later that night, Jaxon cruised around the streets of Pink Top City, looking around for Celeste.
Jaxon: “CELESTE!”
He called out for her as he cruised the streets. He spotted her sitting on a swing set in Sunset Grove Park. His tires screeched as he turned around and parked his car. He scrambled out of the car, running up to her.
Jaxon: “CELESTE!”
He called out for her and rushed up to her. Celeste didn’t answer him. Jaxon knit his eyebrows when he saw her expression. He sat down on the swing beside her and sighed.
Jaxon: “I'm sorry for breaking you…”
He pursed his lips.
Celeste: “Okay.”
She said flatly.
Jaxon: “You were worried about breaking me, but I broke you… I was already broken. I didn’t care about how the shit I did affected other people because I was hurt, but then when I met you, I cared. I didn’t know those one-night stands, Victor, or that this affected you. You’re worried about how the stuff you do affects me, but what about how the stuff I do affects you, too?”
He began. She looked down at her lap.
Jaxon: “I realize now I was a dick to Victor ‘cause I was hurt… and jealous ‘cause that’s how I made you feel now.”
He added.
Celeste: “That’s what I meant by you’re nasty to men who were nice to me.”
She said as her voice trailed off.
Jaxon: “I didn’t think of him, because I didn’t think he was nice to you. He thought of Ivy more than you; he used you as his fix to all his problems. That's a lot of pressure to put on you, and it's not your job to fix him! But… It’s the same thing with Chelsea. I see now that she was doing that to me, too.”
He stated.
Celeste: “Yeah. No shit.”
She huffed.
Jaxon: “If something I do bothers you, tell me.”
He said earnestly.
Celeste: “I can’t do this anymore, Jaxon…”
She admitted. Jaxon’s eyes widened, and his heart sank.
Jaxon: “...Wh-What do you mean?”
He pressed her.
Celeste: “I don’t want to be with you anymore.”
She said flatly.
Jaxon: “What?! Why?!”
He shot up from his swing.
Celeste: “I can’t be with you, Jaxon. It’s just as simple as that.”
She said numbly. Jaxon knit his eyebrows.
Jaxon: “It's not simple!”
He gaped at her with pleading eyes.
Celeste: “It’s over.”
She said evenly. Jaxon felt a sharp pain as he heard those words.
Jaxon: “C-Come on, Celeste! You don't mean that? Can't we work this out?!”
He pleaded with her.
Celeste: “Work out what?”
She asked him.
Jaxon: “Our relationship!”
He gaped at her. Celeste rolled her eyes.
Jaxon pursed his lips and embraced himself.
Jaxon: “I’m sorry, Celeste! Can we talk about this at home?”
He held his hand out to her.
Celeste: “What is there to discuss, Jaxon?! You did what you did! And if I did that, you’d get angry about it!”
She snapped at him.
Jaxon: “I'm sorry I hurt you! I know I fucked up! I can't just leave you out here, though, so let me take you home!”
He pleaded with her.
Celeste: “I can take care of myself, Jaxon. I did that during that goddamn getaway! Ichiro showed more interest in me than you did!”
She barked. Jaxon recoiled and paused.
Jaxon: “I'm sorry…”
He hung his head.
Celeste: “You were showing me more interest when you didn’t have me.”
She said with hurt in her tone and embraced herself.
Celeste: “And this is another reason I was hesitant with you when we met. I also felt this would come.”
She turned her head and cupped her mouth.
Jaxon: “What would come?!”
He trembled and swallowed hard.
Celeste: “You’d get bored with me and find that other fucking thrill ride.”
She seethed at him.
Jaxon: “I'm not bored with you, and that wasn't a thrill ride!”
He snapped.
Celeste: “Of course not. That’s why you left me to go play for her and give Ichiro a reason to kidnap me!”
She fired back. Jaxon recoiled. So it is my fault for Ichiro, he thought.
Jaxon: “I didn't leave you for her! When I came into the room, you were sleeping! I didn't know he was watching us! I should have known!”
He rubbed his temples. Celeste glared at him.
Celeste: “I’ll get home myself.”
She spun on her heel and started to leave.
Jaxon took her hand.
Jaxon: “Celeste, please! Let me take you home!”
He pleaded with her.
Celeste: “I don’t need to be saved, Jaxon.”
She said coldly.
Jaxon: “Yes, you do… You're hurting right now…”
He pursed his lips. Celeste rolled her eyes.
Celeste: “Fine, whatever.”
She relented. Jaxon sighed with relief and led her to the car to take her home. She climbed into the passenger’s side and shut the door. Jaxon got in the driver’s seat and started the car. He shifted into the first gear and drove down the road.
~
When they arrived home, Celeste set her purse down and spread her arms out.
Celeste: “We’re here. What do you want now?”
She asked impatiently.
Jaxon: “What do you want? What do you need?”
He pursed his lips. Celeste bared her teeth at him.
Celeste: “Goddamn you! You showed more passion when she was in trouble than when I said I am leaving you!”
She snarled at him.
Jaxon: “Passion?! I wasn’t passionate about that! I’m passionate about YOU! I had to beg you to come home with me and talk to me and ask you what you need because you won’t tell me!”
He fired back.
Celeste: “Liar!”
She snapped.
Jaxon: “What am I lying about?!”
He snapped back at her.
Celeste: “Everything! I didn’t want to come back here!”
She roared.
Jaxon: “I couldn’t just leave you in the park! If you didn’t want to come back here with me, why did you then?!”
He fired back.
Celeste: “You wouldn’t fuckin’ stop, and it was annoying me!”
She snapped as she clawed at the air.
Jaxon: “Yeah, because I CARE!”
He threw his arms up in the air.
Celeste: “I can take care of myself! It’s all I was doing for my entire life!”
She hissed.
Jaxon: “Yeah, well, now you don’t have to take care of yourself on your own anymore! Now you have me and you have Tristan and Deimos, too!”
He countered.
Celeste looked away and folded her arms over her chest. Jaxon sighed and thought about his discussion with Deimos.
Jaxon: “I know you’re tough, babe, your attacks are powerful and you’re stronger than me, so I assume you can handle things fine on your own, but I realize now that’s not actually true… you’re one of those ice cannons like Tristan that Deimos was talking about; I think he means Tristan is a strong fighter, but he can be hurt and broken, too and he needs Deimos to help him, too. Maybe you need me and them more than you say you do. I heal your wounds, but I wish I could heal your feelings.”
Celeste: “Right, except Deimos and Tristan never did one-night stands, and neither would let anyone else close to them.”
She sneered at him. Jaxon drew a breath.
Jaxon: “I can’t change what I did in the past, but I get why it hurts you. People tickle me all the time, and you joined her, so I didn’t think there was a problem, but I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have let her get close to me…”
He bowed his head.
Celeste inhaled sharply.
Celeste: “Except I never took issue with you modeling your feet or your videos on Fu’s Feet Links and still don’t.”
She said sincerely.
Jaxon: “Why? I don’t understand? If none of that bothers you with these people touching me all over my body and posing nude for strangers, why does this bother you? NONE of these people meant anything to me!”
Celeste glared at him.
Celeste: “You don’t get it. You never will get it!”
She snapped and picked up her purse.
Jaxon: “Then EXPLAIN it to me!”
He countered.
Celeste: “Don’t you think I would if I could?!”
She hissed.
Jaxon: “Why does someone leaning on me affect you more than someone tickling my feet?”
He asked, genuinely curious. Celeste glared at him, feeling her ire soar.
Celeste: “This conversation is over. I have nothing more to say to you.”
She snapped and stormed off to the kitchen.
Jaxon: “WHAT?! Stop being cryptic and walking away from me! TALK TO ME! Why won’t you answer me?!”
He snapped back at her.
Celeste: “LEAVE ME ALONE!”
She fired back at him.
Jaxon: “How am I supposed to understand if you won’t tell me and keep storming off?!”
He fired back at her.
Celeste: “I told you I was done with you!”
She growled at him.
Jaxon: “You want me to fight, but you say you’re done and keep shutting me out?! Which is it?!”
He snapped back.
Celeste: “I said I can’t explain! Don’t force me to!”
She fired back at him, punching another hole in the wall. Jaxon recoiled.
Jaxon: “All right! I’m sorry! I’m just trying to understand and work this out!”
He held his hands up.
Celeste: “Nothing to work out!”
She snapped.
Jaxon: “So, that’s it? You’re going to end this over a fangirl I didn’t even do anything with?! She kissed my cheek, but I never kissed her back and didn’t want to! Hell, I spent most of the time talking about you! I didn’t even go out of my way to find her! She came to me, or it was Josh’s dad coming to me to rescue her AGAIN, and again, and AGAIN!”
He threw his arms up. Celeste gaped at him.
Celeste: “And yet…, you never objected when he asked. Deimos would have.”
She said coldly, and her fury started to rise.
Jaxon: “So, I should have just left her to die?!”
He gaped.
Celeste marched forward to him menacingly.
Celeste: “...Stay the Hell away from me.”
She said venomously. Jaxon gaped at her.
Jaxon: “You're right, I don't get it!”
His head spun with confusion.
Celeste: “This… should never have happened. I made a mistake.”
She backed away from him and headed to the door. Jaxon stood in front of the door.
Celeste: “Move.”
She commanded. Jaxon shook his head.
Jaxon: “I’m not letting you out into the streets alone over my mistakes!”
He said to her.
Celeste: “I’m not your problem anymore.”
She said coldly.
Jaxon: “You’re NOT my problem! You never were a problem!”
He countered.
Celeste: “So you’re going to keep me here against my will?”
She sneered at him.
Jaxon: “You will have to fight me.”
He argued back, blocking the door.
Celeste: “Are you fucking kidding me now?!”
She asked, disbelievingly.
Jaxon: “I know you can kick my ass, but I DON'T CARE!”
He cried and remained in front of the door.
Celeste: “Just…. Fucking MOVE!”
She bellowed at him, baring her teeth.
Jaxon: “NO!”
He snapped, spreading his arms out to block her path.
Celeste: “Why… are you doing this?!”
She asked as her anger rose.
Jaxon: “Because! I don’t want you to leave!”
He fired back.
Celeste: “WHY?!”
He thundered.
Jaxon: “What do you mean WHY?! Because I can’t let you sleep on the streets, and I don’t want to lose you!”
He exclaimed.
Celeste: “It doesn’t matter where I go!”
She snapped and clawed the air.
Jaxon: “It matters to ME!”
He said between clenched teeth.
Celeste: “Does it?! Get the Hell out of my way!”
She snapped.
Jaxon: “Of course it does! I fucking love you and I’m not letting you go!”
He snapped back.
Celeste’s hands flew out, grabbing his wrists. Jaxon shivered when she grabbed his wrists.
Celeste: “Why, Jaxon?”
She asked him as she glared at him.
Jaxon: “The fuck do you mean why?! Because I’m crazy about you and I'd be an idiot to let you go! You’re the best thing that ever happened to me!”
He exclaimed. She slammed his wrists against the door. Jaxon’s eyes widened. His eyes didn’t show fear, they showed an electric spark.
She swung him around and slammed him against the wall, pinning him in her grasp. Jaxon swallowed hard.
Jaxon: “I'm still not letting you go!”
He stammered.
Celeste: “You can’t fight me.”
Jaxon: “I don’t want to fight you.”
He countered. She slammed him up against the closet, pinning his wrists. Jaxon grunted as he smacked against the wall with force. He could tell she was holding back from her full strength and wasn’t going to harm him.
She swung him into the bedroom, leaning him against the desk, and she was behind him, pinning his wrists. Jaxon reddened and swallowed hard.
Celeste: “What are you going to do?”
She asked him as she held his wrists to the desk.
Jaxon: “I'm not going anywhere, and neither are you!”
He replied, looking down at his wrists. She thrust her hips so his groin rubbed the edge of the desk. Jaxon’s eyes widened, and he shivered when he felt his body between hers and the desk.
Celeste: “Why are you blushing?”
She asked him.
Jaxon: “Because you have me in your grip!”
He laughed.
Celeste: “Beg me for forgiveness… in your native language.”
She ordered. Jaxon’s eyes widened.
Jaxon: “Gomennasai, boku no midori no joō, yurushite kudasai.”
He stammered. She held both of his wrists with one hand. She then delivered a slap to his ass. Jaxon jolted and grunted.
Celeste: “Again!”
She ordered and slapped his ass hard. Jaxon jolted and grunted again.
Jaxon: “Gomennasai, boku no midori no joō, yurushite kudasai!”
He repeated, more clearly this time. She slapped his ass harder. Jaxon jolted, yelped, and shivered.
Celeste: “More!”
She commanded, delivering a hard slap to his bottom, causing him to moan.
Jaxon: “Moushiwake-nai!”
He stammered and she slapped his ass.
Jaxon: “MM!”
He shivered all over and jolted again.
Celeste: “Talk dirty to me… in Japanese!”
She ordered. Jaxon froze, and his breathing hitched.
Jaxon: “Motto shite!”
She slapped his ass again. He moaned, quivered, and jolted.
Jaxon: “Yamenaide!”
He moaned. She gave his ass another slap.
Jaxon: “Tamaranai!”
She slapped his ass with her dorsum, whacked it with the side of her hand, and slapped it with her palm. Jaxon yelled out and moaned. He shivered and quivered all over, wiggling his ass at her. She slapped his ass, gripping between his legs. Jaxon moaned and bit his lip, fluttering his eyes.
Celeste paused and delivered another hard slap to his crack and gripped his legs. Jaxon grunted and shivered as she slapped his ass again. She bent over, getting behind him, holding his wrists down. Jaxon’s heart pounded as he felt her body against his.
Celeste: “What are you gonna do, Jaxon?”
She leaned over and whispered into his ear. Jaxon shivered to her breath in his ear.
Jaxon: “Zutto issho ni itai!”
He replied.
Celeste: “What does that mean?”
Jaxon: “I’m gonna love you like there’s no tomorrow!”
He exclaimed. Celeste paused, and her hands trailed up to grip his. Jaxon swung his gaze down to her strong yet delicate hands on his. He turned around and locked his gaze on her, feeling his heart pounding in his chest.
Celeste intertwined her fingers with his. He leaned his head closer and firmly kissed her on the lips. She closed her eyes and kissed him back. He gripped her hands as he kissed her. She turned him over to face her and gazed into his almond brown eyes. Jaxon gazed deeply into her violet eyes.
Jaxon: “What are you gonna do?”
He asked her. She gazed intently at him.
Celeste: “Love you forever.”
She said softly. Jaxon brightened to her confession and pulled her in for a kiss. She kissed him back and raked her fingers through his hair. He shivered at her touch and held her in his grip as he kissed her passionately, not wanting to let her go. Celeste rested her hands on his nape as her tongue wrestled with his. His tongue wrestled with hers in a fight for their love. Celeste’s mouth grazed against his neck.
She guided him onto their bed, getting on top of him and pinning him down. Jaxon gazed up at her, mesmerized by her under the light shining down on her from above.
Jaxon: “What are you going to do now?”
He said breathlessly. She smiled, trailed her hands down his arms, torso, and legs, and to his feet. She took off his boots and his sheer socks, and trailed her hands over his legs, up his torso, and wrists. Jaxon shivered all over at her touch as she stroked her hands down his body as if to mark him as hers.
Celeste: “Not letting you go…”
She said softly. Jaxon’s smile spread wide to show his even teeth.
Jaxon: “I’m not going anywhere.”
He replied. She lay on top of him, rubbing her feet on his. Jaxon shivered and tingled at her touch and rubbed his feet against hers.
She swallowed hard.
Celeste: “Do you remember our first date?”
She asked him. Jaxon nodded.
Jaxon: “Of course I do. I couldn’t forget it!”
He laughed.
Celeste: “What about when you took me to that fancy restaurant?”
She trailed her nails over the palms of his hands.
Jaxon: “I couldn’t forget that either!”
He shivered at her touch.
Celeste: “Maybe you should take me to another fancy restaurant sometime.”
She pinned him with a half-lidded stare.
Jaxon: “Oh? You like that, huh? You want another fancy date?”
He teased.
Celeste: “I’m still a lady, Jaxon… and I like to feel like one sometimes.”
She shifted her eyes. Jaxon’s eyes widened.
Jaxon: “Don’t worry, I’ll make you feel like a lady.”
He winked at her. She giggled.
Celeste trailed her hands down his arms and to his face, caressing it.
Celeste: “Jaxon?”
Jaxon: “Celeste?”
He hummed as she held his face. Celeste paused.
Celeste: “How come you cried over Chelsea’s death and a bit at her funeral and not when I said I was leaving you?”
She asked him. Jaxon drew a breath.
Jaxon: “Because, she was brutally murdered because of me. When I thought you were dead in Shin-Yamato, it killed me and I wanted to die too so I could be with you again. I dunno… death is permanent, and maybe I didn’t believe we were permanently over. I wanted to fight for it.”
He explained. Celeste gazed at him.
Celeste: “How is any of that your fault? Did you tell Ichiro to do that to her?”
She asked him.
Jaxon: “No, but if it wasn’t for me, he wouldn’t have kidnapped you and wouldn’t have murdered her and hurt you…”
He sighed.
Celeste: “Is it your fault when Dougal attacks you?”
She asked him.
Jaxon: “No.”
He shook his head in confirmation.
Celeste: “Well, this wasn’t either. It’s something Ichiro does.”
She paused.
Celeste: “I know Ivy sucks and she seems to piss me off when she wants but… I was thinking about what she said… what if Chelsea only wanted to move to Pink Top City to try to make a move on you?”
She asked him. Jaxon paused.
Celeste: “She was dating Josh for eight years, and she decided on a whim she’s gonna move. Because of you. She wanted to date you.”
She added.
Celeste: “Those Hallmark ladies are the same ‘cause Ivy is one and she did that bullshit, too. She dated Deimos for years and left because she wanted Tristan.”
Jaxon paused.
Jaxon: “Well, that wouldn’t have happened, because I am dating you and only want to be with you!”
He said earnestly and firmly.
Celeste: “Yeah, and she still leaned into you, and Tristan told me she was gonna kiss you.”
She added. Jaxon drew a breath.
Jaxon: “I didn’t want that and wouldn’t have returned it… I told her so many times I’m in love with you and made that clear.”
He said earnestly.
Celeste: “Yeah, well, my point is she still chased you… like Ivy does to Tristan.”
Jaxon paused.
Jaxon: “Are you saying she was another Ivy?”
He asked.
Celeste: “Yeah, but she’s not as aggressive as Ivy is. Ivy has a temper and can be violent.”
She replied. Jaxon sighed and shook his head.
Jaxon: “Great, foiled by another Ivy… maybe I don’t have a good judge of character.”
He sighed.
Celeste: “You do with me.”
She looked away. Jaxon brightened.
Jaxon: “Yes, you’re the best judgment I ever made.”
He wrapped his arm around her.
Celeste: “I know!”
She smiled at him and rested her head on his chest. Jaxon laughed and smiled down at her, kissing her. She kissed him back.
~
A few minutes later, Jaxon lay in bed naked with Celeste lying on his chest wearing a tank top and panties. They were watching TV. They came across the “Pink Top Midnight News” to see that Hiroto Tachibana, a politician from Shin-Yamato and a member of the Japanese embassy in the USA, is involved in an adulterous scandal.
The news reporter stated that Hiroto Tachibana impregnated 25-year-old Laura Lee. She also added that both Hiroto and his wife, Mayumi, bribed her with a great deal of money to get an abortion. Jaxon rolled his eyes and drew a breath.
Jaxon: “Here we go again.”
He said apathetically.
Celeste: “I think this is the first time this went public, or am I wrong?”
She asked him.
Jaxon: “Yeah, like that makes a difference. He will find some way out of this like he always does.”
He shook his head.
Jaxon: “And what's this got to do with me or us anyway?!”
He shrugged and draped his arm around her. Celeste nodded and smiled, leaning on his chest and kissing it.
~
Later that night, Celeste was spread out on her back, sleeping like a cat, and Jaxon slept on his side, facing her. Ichiro teleported to their bedroom.
He panted when he laid his eyes on Celeste. He bit his bottom lip and lifted her top slowly, revealing her large bare breasts.
Ichiro: “Sugoi kirei.”
He whispered. He sat on the bed, cupping her breasts, rubbing her nipples between his finger and thumb and leaned in to suck on her nipples.
Jaxon fluttered his eyes awake to see a shadow looming over Celeste. He immediately knew who it belonged to. He instinctively grabbed Celeste, scooping her up in his arms, and glared at Ichiro with burning hatred in his eyes. Celeste moaned in Jaxon’s arms.
Jaxon: “ICHIRO!”
He snapped and hissed at him. Ichiro turned to him.
Ichiro: “Oh, hello, Jiro. Didn’t think you’d wake up.”
He rose and dusted himself off.
Ichiro began, conversing in Japanese.
Ichiro: “I have a favor to ask of you. Well, no, it’s not for me but our dear father. He needs you to take care of his latest problem.”
He folded his arms and smirked at him.
Ichiro: “I took care of the last one, and I think it’s fair you should take care of this one.”
Jaxon gaped at him and burst out laughing.
Jaxon: “You have the fucking AUDACITY to ask ME for a favor and take care of his bullshit? I don’t give a shit! FUCK OFF. GO TO HELL!”
He snapped at him. Ichiro raised an eyebrow.
Ichiro: “It’s always on me to clean up this family’s messes, isn’t it, Jiro?”
He fielded scathingly.
Jaxon: “Not my fucking problem. You all disowned me. Get out of my life!”
He snapped at him.
Ichiro: “Jiro, I would never disown my baby brother.”
He smirked. Jaxon glared at him.
Jaxon: “I wish you would!”
He hissed.
Ichiro: “You and I are not our parents.”
He pointed to them both.
Ichiro: “One more thing before I go…”
He held up his forefinger.
Ichiro: “Celeste gives me a thrill like no other.”
He admitted and reddened. Jaxon flared up with fury and rage.
Jaxon: “Too fucking bad, she’s MINE and you’re not getting your grubby hands on her!”
He snapped at him, holding her close and protectively.
Ichiro: “I created the Richoprox Erokine for you but also… her.”
He bit his bottom lip, gazing at her. Jaxon glared at him.
Jaxon: “The fuck does that mean?! Get OUT of here!”
He snapped at him.
Ichiro: “It means… Celeste will be MINE!”
He blew him a raspberry. Jaxon glared at him.
Jaxon: “FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE! SHE’S MINE AND BLOWING MY TONGUE IS MY THING! YOU FUCKING THEIF!”
He snapped at him. Ichiro blew a raspberry at him.
Ichiro: “We’ll see about that, Jiro! Hope my next richonoid gives you and MY Green Queen a thrill. I know she will give ME a thrill. Sayonara!”
He grinned and pressed a button in his ear to teleport away.
Jaxon glared at him hatefully.
Jaxon: “Sayonara, you fucking coward! The only thrill she will give you is when she slices you in half!”
He spat hatefully, caressing her in his arms. Celeste moaned in his arms.
Celeste: “Who are you speaking to in Japanese?”
She asked while half-asleep. Jaxon flopped back down onto the bed.
Jaxon: “Fucking ICHIRO.”
He huffed. Celeste snapped her eyes open.
Celeste: “Ichiro?! He was here?! I thought you were watching those Godzilla movies or talking in your sleep!”
She explained. Jaxon gritted his teeth and nodded.
Jaxon: “That fucking asshole was trying to touch you again!”
He huffed. Celeste paused and looked down at her bare breasts. She pulled her top down and cuddled him.
Celeste: “Thanks for protecting me, Jaxon. I’m sorry, I’m a sound sleeper.”
She sighed and embraced herself in his arms. Jaxon wrapped his arms around her and held her close. Celeste felt warm and loved in his arms.
Jaxon: “Don’t worry, babe, I’ll look out for you when you’re asleep!”
Celeste: “What else did he say? I could have sworn I heard more, but maybe I was dreaming? I don’t dream in Japanese, though.”
Jaxon: “He wants me to take care of our father’s problem, like I give a shit!”
He rolled his eyes.
Jaxon: “Then… he said he’s working on another monster… for you.”
He groaned.
Celeste: “I’m only close with others who have powers, and getting me to break is hard, so good luck to him, I guess.”
She shrugged and leaned into his chest. Jaxon smiled a bit.
Jaxon: “You’re right, he will fail.”
He kissed her head. Celeste closed her eyes and smiled, feeling loved and protected.
