Chapter 133
Viva Los Campos Part Four
Jordi was in bed, sleeping next to Gina. His eyes fluttered as the sun shone in on them. He stretched, yawned, and turned to Gina, whose back was facing him. He leaned over to her, running his nose down her spine and kissing her back up to her shoulders.
He rolled out of bed and sauntered to the bathroom to shower and brush his teeth.
~
Jordi stepped out of the shower with a towel around his waist. Someone knocked on his door.
Jordi: “Coming.”
He called out and opened the door to see Minerva standing before him. She scowled, and her expression softened when she saw Jordi with just a towel around his waist.
Minerva: “Well, what a sight to behold.”
She purred. Jordi shifted his eyes and felt his discomfort grow.
Jordi: “What do you need?”
He asked with strain.
Minerva: “Any idea when Jiro will arrive…?”
She asked slowly, drinking him in. Jordi twisted his mouth.
Jordi: “Well, Ichiro said that Dieuseul Charles mailed that tape to Percy via courier, so I guess today or tomorrow.”
He shifted his eyes and hated how she was staring at him.
Minerva placed her hands on the wall of his chest. Jordi shuddered and gnashed his teeth.
Minerva: “I was going to berate you for subpar work, but seeing you like this changed my mind… You know what will come if you don’t meet your standards, right, Jordi?”
She purred and trailed her nails down his torso. Jordi laughed and nodded.
Jordi: “Hehehehehehehehe, yes!”
She grinned at him.
Minerva: “I’m going to have breakfast in The Orchid—one of the restaurants here. I’ll be seeing you very soon, Jordi.”
She grinned tightly and left. Jordi watched her go and glared at her. He drew a rough breath and entered his room, closing the door.
~
The quartet and Percy arrived at King Spire’s Palace and checked in. They took the elevator up one of the towers and entered their suite. It was a spacious living and dining area with chandelier lighting, unique wood furnishings, and a wet bar. The master bedroom boasted a separate sitting area and a King-sized bed in deep neutral tones. Connecting to the master bedroom was a bathroom with beige marble flooring and walls, a walk-in shower, double sinks, and a vanity. A second connecting bedroom had two Queen-sized beds, a personal bathroom, a walk-in shower, and sinks.
Each room had a balcony overlooking the glitzy city of Los Campos with chairs and a small table for two.
Percy: “The kingsize bed is MINE! Should any of my princes wish to slumber with me, by all means!”
He bowed. Deimos glared at him and held Tristan protectively.
Deimos: “You’re lucky we’re helping you find this fat piece of shit!”
He spat.
Percy: “The ‘fat piece of shit’ who helped us get my Pepper Prince back from Noriko.”
He stuck his split tongue out. Jaxon groaned.
Jaxon: “Look, we’re going to help you. Can we also enjoy this trip, too?”
Percy smiled and kissed Jaxon’s hand.
Percy: “Gladly, darling.”
Celeste cleared her throat and held Jaxon protectively.
Celeste: “I want to at least go to those dollar buffets.”
She nodded.
Deimos: “If any buffet is that cheap, I wonder about the food quality, but you will eat cat food if Jaxon puts it in front of you.”
He said wryly. Tristan gave Deimos a somewhat disapproving nod. He cleared his throat.
Tristan: “There are other places to dine, Celeste. Morgan Hamsay has a restaurant in this hotel called ‘The Netherworld’s Kitchen.’ ”
He said genially.
Celeste: “That sounds so metal and nothing like Lazaros.”
She laughed. Jaxon laughed with her and kissed her head.
Jaxon: “You’re so cute, babe!”
She grinned.
Celeste: “Not as cute as you, my little prince!”
She wrapped her arms around him, and he held her.
Deimos: “What do you guys want to do to kill the time?”
Celeste: “Take me to those dollar buffets, Jax!”
She nodded. Jaxon looked at her with strain. Tristan shrugged.
Jaxon: “Sure, babe.”
He relented and forced a smile.
Jaxon: “You guys wanna come with?”
Deimos: “The fuck do you think?”
He rolled his eyes. He looked in the brochure and saw the hotel had an arcade.
Deimos: “Jax, there’s an arcade in this hotel! Wanna come with?”
He showed him a picture of a colorful arcade. Jaxon wanted to go with Deimos, but Celeste is excited about this buffet.
Jaxon: “Another time, man.”
He nodded. Celeste looked up at Jaxon.
Tristan: “I’ll do some shopping then. They have a mall, and I hope they have a bookstore.”
Percy: “You kids have fun. I’ll go explore this city.”
He grinned.
Jaxon: “I bet.”
He muttered.
~
Jaxon and Celeste were in the hotel’s car rental section, browsing the cars for rent. The car rental salesman was a white man in a dark olive suit with a bad coif.
Salesman: “I think you and your lady would love to rent this beauty! It can fit two others in the back!”
He presented them with a white Ford Mustang. Jaxon scrunched his nose.
Jaxon: “Nah, not interested, man.”
He put his hand up.
He hooked his thumbs in his pants pocket, and his eyes lit up when he saw a red 1987 Mazda RX-7 convertible.
Jaxon: “I’ll take that!”
He shot his forefinger out. The salesman nodded.
Salesman: “It’s a bit pricy, young man!”
Jaxon: “Money is not an issue.”
He smiled, rushed to the car to examine it, and whistled.
The salesman led him to the desk, where Jaxon showed him his driver’s license and credit card. The salesman jotted down the information. He then handed Jaxon the car keys. Jaxon dangled them in front of Celeste and grinned.
Jaxon: “Let’s go, babe!”
~
Jaxon drove out of the building and onto the road, smoking a cigarette with his Ray-Bans over his eyes. Celeste sat in the passenger’s seat, admiring the glitzy lights and attractions surrounding her. Her eyes lit up at the colorful fountains, the gold-themed nightclubs, and even Voyage Burger had a glittering sign. Their long hair blew through the wind as Jaxon drove down the Los Campos strip.
There were nightclubs, casinos, strip clubs, theaters, hotels, motels, love hotels, and entertainment, and everything was lit up in bright, flashing lights. A ship was outlined in bright red, white, and blue lights. Buildings with music videos playing, a nightclub with flashing purple lights.
Celeste admired the view of the city and being with her man. She smiled at Jaxon, showing her razor-sharp teeth. Jaxon saw her through the corner of his eyes and stuck his tongue out at her, teasing her.
Jaxon turned on his signal light to change lanes and turned left onto the road to get to “The Dollar Buffet.” He drove down another street with restaurants and eateries on each side, and everything was lit up.
He went further down and turned on his signal light to turn right. They arrived at “The Dollar Buffet.” It was a beige, plain-looking building with bars on the windows and doors, with a white sign that read “The Dollar Buffet” in big orange letters. Jaxon winced at the exterior. He parked the car, and the two climbed out. Jaxon rested his sunglasses on his head. Celeste opened the door for him, and they entered.
Several fat and/or old people ate in a spacious dining room. The buffet had an array of unappetizing-looking food seeping out of the tubs and intermingling with each other. A woman in a red beehive riding a Rascal scooter piled food on her plate. Jaxon wanted to throw up on sight. When he saw a fly crawl on the macaroni and cheese, he tried to fight the urge to vomit. He hated macaroni and cheese enough as it was.
Jaxon: “Babe? Can we go? I don’t want to be here.”
He whispered. He heard a woman say, “Good piggie,” and slowly turned his head to see Makayla and Brad seated at one of the tables. It looked as if she took half of the buffet to feed Brad, as the table was covered in piles of plates. Makayla was dressed as a hog farmer in a pair of overalls that revealed her breasts, feeding him spoonfuls of slop with pig ears perched on his head.
Seeing those two reopened the wound for Jaxon. His former best friend and bandmate betrayed him for a fling, and the fling in question smeared his reputation and tried to kill him, while she smeared his ex-friend and bandmate’s face with cheap and nasty buffet food.
Jaxon turned to Celeste with beseeching eyes.
Jaxon: “Babe, can we go?”
He took her hand.
Celeste: “But you said you would take me here.”
Jaxon: “And I did, babe, but we can eat elsewhere! There are many places here to eat that serve food that doesn’t look like puke with flies on it.”
He said with disgust.
Celeste: “You sound like Deimos now.”
She pouted.
Jaxon: “We don’t need a dollar buffet… Money is not an issue.”
He said slowly, trying not to lose his cool.
He heard Brad let out a loud belch, and his right eye twitched.
Jaxon: “CAN WE PLEASE FUCKING GET OUT OF HERE?!”
He screamed as his face flamed red. Celeste was taken aback and knit her eyebrows.
Celeste: “Okay.”
She said in a small voice. Jaxon marched out of there, and Celeste was about to follow, but she heard someone rip a giant fart and saw Brad and Makayla eating. She wanted to pound their heads in, but her man was her priority. She ran out to be with Jaxon.
~
Jaxon drove down the strip, and Celeste gazed at him.
Celeste: “What can I do to make you not mad?”
She blurted.
Jaxon: “I didn’t want to go there in the first place! I only went for you…”
He huffed. Celeste bowed her head.
Celeste: “Why didn’t you say that?”
Jaxon: “Because you kept insisting on going!”
He snapped. She inhaled sharply.
Jaxon: “I don’t understand why! It’s not like we can’t afford better—we can! It's like... buying expensive toys for cats and they want to play in the box it came in!”
He said sharply and rolled his eyes.
Celeste gazed at him.
Celeste: “Let’s go wherever you want!”
She offered. Jaxon started to smile a bit.
Jaxon: “How about somewhere we both want to go?”
Celeste: “NO! This is about you, Jaxon! You call the shots this time!”
She insisted.
Jaxon: “It’s not just about me, babe... We’re in this together, so we should do something we’ll both enjoy.”
Celeste pouted.
Celeste: “I’m going to tickle you.”
She furrowed her eyebrows. Jaxon laughed and poked his tongue at her.
~
Deimos and Tristan were in the car rental place attached to King Spire’s Palace.
Tristan: “Deimos, we could rent a cab. I don’t mind that.”
He offered. Deimos turned to Tristan.
Deimos: “Nonsense! You are too above sitting in a cab, Tristan! I insist on chauffeuring you around! I cannot sully your body where others sat!”
He nodded. The salesman smiled.
Salesman: “You sure have a keeper there, young man!”
He said to Tristan. Deimos strolled to the black 1987 Chevrolet Camaro.
Deimos: “I’ll take this one.”
Salesman: “This is the second time a young man has wanted to rent an expensive vehicle.”
He laughed.
He led Deimos to the desk and asked for his driver’s license and credit card.
Salesman: “You’re fortunate to have him!”
He chuckled, checking Tristan out. Tristan reddened a bit.
Deimos: “Aren’t I just?”
He beamed at Tristan.
~
Deimos drove out onto the road with Tristan in the passenger seat. Deimos was smoking and had his colored clip-on shades over his glasses. Deimos marveled at the city’s sights as he drove down the strip. Everything was so glitzy and gold. There was so much to do that it left Deimos feeling overwhelmed. The best part, he thought, was being here with the man he loves. He glanced at Tristan, whose emerald eyes sparkled at the city's sights.
They drove through a glittering purple arch, which held a bright, lit sign that read, “The City of Los Campos.”
Deimos: “Did you ever come here?”
Tristan shook his head.
Tristan: “No, I haven’t. I’m not a gambler; you know I am not one for nightclubs, casinos, etc. I had no reason to go.”
He admitted.
Deimos: ‘Likewise. I guess doing Percy’s dirty work has its perks.”
He declared and drew a breath.
Deimos: “Maybe… someday we could go here and not to get Percy’s personal car back?”
He suggested.
Tristan turned to Deimos with a smile and put his hand on Deimos’, whose hand was on the stick shift. Deimos blushed a bit.
Tristan: “I’d love that. I love Pink Top City and am glad I moved there, but there is so much more of the world to see. I would love to see it with you.”
He said softly. Deimos turned beet red and smiled widely at Tristan.
Deimos: “I always traveled as a kid and hated it… But I love it when I am with you.”
He said gently. He grasped Tristan’s soft hand and kissed it. Tristan melted to his words and touch.
As Deimos drove, he saw a bright, lit-up ad of footage of “Loop De Loop Haunted Maze” playing. Deimos nodded to it, and Tristan turned his head. He saw footage of an old building with “Loop De Loop Haunted Maze” in red Old English letters and sliding pictures of checkered floors in dark halls, scary clowns, and zombies jumping out at you. Tristan shuddered.
Deimos: “Come on. I’ll protect you.”
He said tenderly. Tristan smiled. He hated these places and jump scares, but wanted to make his man happy. In any case, Deimos will protect me, he thought.
~
Jordi and Gina were in his hotel room in bed, naked, gazing into each other’s eyes. The two shared a deep, passionate kiss as he lay her down.
Jordi has slid between her legs and opened her up for him. He pushed two fingers inside of her, easing them in and out and around the warm, wet interior of her body as he kissed her and finger-fucked her. She was awash in pleasure, in that sort of soft liquid pleasure that suffuses the stomach and back and hips all at once and makes the thighs tense and quiver and fingers clutch at the sheets—that sort of pleasure.
Gina’s head fell back, and her shoulders came off the bed. Sweat beaded on her forehead, and she dug her heels into the mattress as Jordi brought her to the pinnacle of pleasure and left her there as he slowed down, eased up the pressure to draw it out a little longer.
Gina: “Jordi…”
She said between labored breaths. He gazed at her as he used his fingers to massage her. She’d been close to coming, and now the urge slightly faded.
Jordi grinned at her, loving that he teased her. He ran his finger over her clitoris in a circular motion as he gazed at her. Gina’s legs trembled.
Gina: “Jordi, please…”
She begged him. Jordi chuckled. He spread her wet folds and lowered his head between her legs as he lapped up her sweetness. Gina threw her head back, yelping loudly as the pleasures coursed through her. She loved the sensation this man gave her and wanted more.
Jordi sucked on and kissed her throbbing clitoris. He slid his tongue inside of her, tasting her, teasing her, edging her cruelly. Gina’s legs threatened to send her into a puddle of limbs before him. Gina clutched onto the sheets as she released into his mouth. Jordi swallowed her sweetness, savoring the taste.
Gina gazed at him with beseeching eyes.
Gina: “Jordi, I need more… I need you.”
Jordi nodded and smiled, wanting to hear those words from her lips.
Jordi pulled his wallet from his pocket and dug out a condom. Gina kissed and sucked lightly on his earlobe while he rolled on the condom. When it was on, he grabbed her by the upper arms and pushed her against the bed. She squealed.
Gina fed off his mouth, her hands grasping him by his ass, holding him to the throb of her female flesh. Jordi entered her in one deep thrust that made her senses go wild. He set a furious pace that thundered through her body, making her gasp and whimper and arch her spine and roll her hips to get the friction where she needed it most.
He hooked one of her legs over his hip and caressed her with his fingers, triggering a wild maelstrom of sensations that powered through her. She screamed as her orgasm ripped through her.
Jordi followed with his release in three hard thrusts that brought a harsh cry out from between his lips.
He pulled out and collapsed on the bed, panting. He sat up, slid off the condom, tied it in a knot, and disposed of it.
Jordi: “Join me in the shower?”
Gina giggled and rose.
Gina: “Sure, Jordi…”
~
After the two showered, Jordi wore a white sports jacket, a light purple shirt with the buttons undone to expose his gold necklace, jeans, and brown monkstrap shoes. Gina wore a striped purple and black off-shoulder shirt, a large belt around her waist, a black micro mini skirt, and strappy heel sandals.
Gina: “I want to go out and have fun.”
She wagged her hips, giving him a coy look.
Jordi: “Sure, what do you want to do?”
He smiled.
Gina: “Rent a car, Jordi! Take me around!”
She stomped her feet and playfully hit his chest. Jordi smiled and nodded.
Jordi: “Of course…”
He whispered.
~
Jordi was down at the car rental place attached to the hotel. He rented a 1987 red Chevrolet Corvette. He handed the salesman his driver’s license and credit card. As the man took his information down, he smiled.
Salesman: “A lot of young people coming from Palm Tree State, I see, namely Pink Top City.”
He laughed. Jordi felt a seed of anxiety rise from the pit of his stomach. Does that mean Jaxon and his friends are here? He wondered.
Jordi: “I see.”
Maybe it’s a coincidence, I hope it is, he thought.
~
He drove out in the Chevrolet Corvette and stopped when he saw Gina outside. He got out to open the car door for her.
Jordi: “How come you didn’t want to come in?”
Gina embraced herself and smiled.
Gina: “I find that boring.”
She said quickly. Then she got into the car. Jordi entered the driver’s side, put on his sunglasses, and lit a cigarette. He shifted into the first gear and drove downtown.
Jordi: “Where do you want to go?”
He smiled.
Gina: “Somewhere fun! Somewhere with you!”
She kissed his cheek. Jordi reddened.
~
Trevor was in the marble room after being forced to shower while wearing a power-suppressing collar. The man in the suit got him something from Voyage Burger, and Trevor sat on the floor in the cage, eating it. Boris marched in and knelt to Trevor. The men in the suits stood erect with fear.
Boris: “Hello, Trevor. Mind if I join you for dinner?”
He began and grinned.
Boris: “That burger looks good. Mind if I take a bite?”
Before Trevor could reply, Boris took his burger, bit into it, and took his shake.
Boris: “Is this chocolate?”
Trevor gulped.
Trevor: “No.”
He said in a small voice. Boris smiled.
Boris: “I can’t have chocolate.”
Trevor blinked.
Boris: “Just need something to wash this good burger down, no?”
He chuckled.
Boris: “Trevor, I need something from you. If you give it to me, I can talk to Dieuseul about giving you more good burgers. How does that sound?”
He smiled and bit into his burger.
Trevor: “Well, good, because you’re eating all my food.”
He huffed. Boris banged on the cage rails, causing everyone to jump.
Boris: “I have a girlfriend who ran off again. I need to know who she ran off with.”
He smirked tightly.
Trevor: “How would I know who that is?”
He stammered. Boris ate Trevor’s fries, and Trevor drew a long breath.
Boris: “He comes from the city you come from, my friend.”
Trevor: “I still don’t know. Maybe it’s my ass-manager, Larry. My gal pal, Zoe, loves him.”
He rolled his eyes. Boris banged on the cage again. The men in the suits tried to stifle their whimpers.
Boris slammed a picture of Jordi and Gina dining together down. Trevor flicked his gaze to the image and picked it up.
Trevor: “Oh, it’s the guy with the nice ass who helped Jaxon on that yacht and again in Shin-Yamato from that weird girl who loves Varg the Viking!”
He laughed. Boris nodded, licking his lips.
Boris: “Very good, partner. What is his name?”
Trevor: “Jordi! I think he works for some crazy lady who is like a cougar! That means she’s older and loves younger men!”
He grinned.
Boris rose and turned to the men in the suits with a glare.
Boris: “Get him burgers from that place to replace what I ate.”
He commanded.
Man in suit: “Y-Yes, Boris!”
He stammered, and Boris ran out of there in a huff.
~
Jaxon’s car rolled up to Loop De Loop Haunted Maze. He parked the car, and he and Celeste got out. It resembled an old, abandoned building with “Loop De Loop Haunted Maze” in red Old English letters.
The deep, faded crimson brickwork is stained with years of neglect. Streaks of grime trickled from the collapsed gutters, forming dark tears that wept over the sills of broken windows. The main entrance was a grand archway with large wooden doors and rusty hinges. Jaxon whistled.
Jaxon: “Love how it looks like an abandoned building.”
He laughed. The couple saw a Chevrolet Camaro pull up and park beside them. Deimos stepped out of the car and opened the door for Tristan.
Deimos: “Well, hello!”
Tristan: “Fancy meeting you two here.”
He smiled.
Jaxon: “My babe wanted to come here.”
He laughed.
Celeste: “I said it because it’s your choice and you weren’t telling me, so I picked something you like!”
She pouted. Jaxon wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a kiss.
Deimos cupped Tristan’s waist.
Deimos: “I will protect Tristan. He has nothing to fear when I’m near.”
He said doggedly. Tristan reddened and chuckled.
Celeste: “Let’s go in!”
She commanded, and the four approached the building with Celeste opening the massive doors.
~
Minutes later, Jordi pulled up to the place, and he and Gina stepped out of the car. Jordi slid his glasses off and dropped his cigarette, scraping the butt on the ground with his shoe. Gina held onto Jordi’s arm and looked at him with starry eyes.
Jordi: “Let’s go.”
He smiled and opened the door for her. The two entered and the doors slammed shut.
